WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Following a semi-finals showing at the Patriot League Championships, two Army West Point women's tennis players garnered Patriot League post-season awards. Junior Carolyn Pitman was selected to the All-Patriot League First Team, while junior Eva Sung was named to the second team, announced by the conference Tuesday.
Pitman captures her second consecutive first team honor after earning 17 singles and 20 doubles victories during the 2014-15 season. She was named to the first team last year and earned second-team honors as a freshman. Pitman, a West Chester, Ohio, native, went 9-6 at the No. 1 flight after overcoming a major injury in the middle of the season. Her performance was highlighted by her defeat of Johanna Hyoty of Boston University who ranks 15th in the region. Read More
