WEST POINT, N.Y. -- After winning his first collegiate golf tournament and leading the Black Knights to a team victory, yearling Justin Pagila has been named the Army Athletic Association Athlete of the Week, announced Monday afternoon. The honor comes as the first in his career.
At the Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational, Pagila earned the individual title by one stroke after shooting five-under in the last nine holes. The Dublin, Calif., native shot a 54-hole total 205 and finished 11-under par to win his first individual title as a Black Knight. Throughout the tournament, Pagila recorded two eagles and 15 birdies to lead him to first place. He led the field in par-five opportunities averaging 4.08 strokes. Read More
