LTC Reeves Attends LACMO

LTC Shane Reeves, Professor and Deputy Head, Department of Law, attended a conference held by the Law of Armed Conflict and Military Operations (LACMO) International Research Network. The conference was held at the Netherlands Defence Academy in Amsterdam. LTC Reeves participated in two workshops during the conference. First, he provided rebuttal argument during a workshop entitled, Operation Inherent Resolve and the Law Relating to Self-Defense, Russian and Iranian Intervention in Syria and Turkish Intervention against Syrian Kurds and the International law on the Use of Force. Second, he delivered remarks as a panelist in the workshop entitled, Air Power: Uses, Effectiveness and Limitations in the Campaign against ISIS and the Law of Targeting and Its Application in the Aerial Campaign Against ISIS.
