Water Polo at the State Championships

With a first win against NYU by a score of 13-0 the army team picked up right where they left off and strong early performances from firsties Shelby Lee and Colin Stone. The key player in this game was Jeff Stark who as goalie helped the Army team towards its first shut-out of the season. The speed of the Army water polo team helped lead to some quick goals against Hamilton resulting in a 21-5 win, extending their win streak to 14 wins and 0 losses. The championship game was against Cornell with a final score of 13-8 with a notable performance from firstie Seth Nordell who led the team in scoring with three goals. On to the nationals the coming weekend at Florida State, Go Army!
