Cadet Trip to See Blade Runner 2049

Cadets in Human Computer Interaction took a trip to see Blade Runner 2049. The themes of this movie center around the boundaries between man and machine; a line that continues to grow increasing blurred as we begin to rely increasingly on technology to manage our lives and jobs. It prompted a discussion about the extent to which we successfully manage to make tradeoffs between the systems and people we rely on, and the extent to which that can be both harmful and beneficial.
