Publications Designing the 2018 Howitzer

Cadet Pubs hosted Jostens and Howitzer cadet staff members in a long work session to design the 2018 yearbook. Much was completed, including the cover, end sheet designs, and section layouts. Also, the 2016 yearbook has been awarded two awards: Foil and Specialty Effects Association-Awarded 2016 Howitzer the Gold Leaf Award for "Most Difficult Use of Foil and Embossing." This is a dual award for West Point and Jostens Printing and Publishing for the cover saber design and its use of foil and embossing on the 2016 cover; overall layout/design and quality of printing. Printing Industries of America-Awarded 2016 Howitzer the Premier Print Award of Recognition for layout and design. Awardees must meet a strict set of design/layout criteria and printing standards.
