Engineering Psychology View "Sully" to Apply Learned Concepts

Dr. Ericka Rovira and MAJ Charles Rowan took cadets from the Engineering Psychology Program to a viewing of the film “Sully.” Cadets were able to watch the film in order to apply concepts learned in PL475: Human-Computer Interaction and PL485: Human Factors Engineering to explain possible causes for the “Miracle on the Hudson.” Cadets will analyze US Airways Flight 1549, which CAPT Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger flew that day, in order to conduct their own accident investigation and provide recommendations for better system design.
