Marathon Takes 2nd in the Nationals

The Army West Point Marathon team travelled to Bloomington, IN, to compete in Nationals. There, they won second place out of the 34 teams competing at Nationals. Cadet Chris Boyle placed 4th, cadet Jake Schmitz placed 5th, and cadet Aaqib Syed placed 10th, as the Army West Point Marathon team dominated the competition on a hilly course. Bloomington, IN, showed the team what Midwestern cold could feel like, but it wasn’t enough to slow down this stellar first performance at the Marathon Collegiate Nationals for this Army West Point Marathon team.
