Bowling Eastern Collegiate Bowling Conference

On 31 Oct., the Army West Point Bowling Team travelled to Oakland, NJ, to participate in their first tournament of four in the Eastern Collegiate Bowling Conference (EIBC). For the first time in years, USMA fielded three teams. The Men’s A Team consisted of CDTs Louis Kappner, James Olk, Raul Salaverria, David Trate and John Tazioli. Led by CDTs Kappner and Salaverria, the Men’s A team did exceptionally well, winning three of six matches and scoring 26 out of 48 points. The Women’s team that consisted of CDTs Paige Vallejos, Amanda Hall, Allison Setter, and Mariah Foster competed in their first tournament and showed the ability to win in the upcoming tournaments. The Men’s B team consisted of CDTs Daniel Ivey, Samuel Jung, Chris Edwards, Chris Chaulk, and Tyler Stansbury and showed big improvements over the last year, and great promise for the upcoming season.
