On 31 Oct., the Army West Point Cadet Chapel Choir lead a worship time for the residents of the Walter Hoving Women’s Center in Garrison, NY. After the performance, the cadets joined the residents in a time of fellowship and community outreach. The Cadet Chapel Choir returned to West Point for a time of sharing food and testimony. In celebration of Halloween, the Cadet Chapel Choir donned costumes and sang Christmas Carols for LTG Caslen and BG Thomson. Afterwards, the cadets returned to the residence of COL and Mrs. Shoop, who hosted the cadets as they concluded the evening with other team-building activities. On 1 Nov., the Protestant Chapel Choir joined the Jewish Cadet Chapel Choir for an afternoon combined choir performance for the community in Bridgeport, CT. After the performance, the choirs participated in a question and answer session with the community and shared in a time of fellowship and outreach. The participants were pleased to have this outreach opportunity, connecting to the citizens of Bridgeport and Garrison, as well as performing and worshipping with such appreciative congregations.
