Army West Point's Jeremy Timpf and Matt Hugenberg are included in the Rotary Lombardi Award Watch List.The Rotary Lombardi Award, now in its 46th season, honors linemen on both offense and defense or linebackers who set up no farther than five yards from the line of scrimmage. The selection committee, comprised of 500 members including past winners and finalists, Division I head coach and media, listed 146 players on the initial list.
Twelve semifinalists will be determined in November with the winner announced on Dec. 8 at the Bayou Music Center in Houston, Texas. Scooby Wright of Arizona won the honor last season. Hugenberg, a senior offensive lineman from Quincy, Ill., helped pave the way for a rushing attack that finished fifth in the country in rushing last season.
