Cadets Published in Applied Sciences Journal

Congratulations to Cadets Nathaniel J. Olsavsky ’21, Victoria M. Kearns ’22 and Connor P. Beckman ’22, and faculty, COL John Burpo, LTC Daniel Bahaghighat, and Dr. Enoch Nagelli; and their collaborator, Dr. Pamela Sheehan, CCDC-AC, for their published research titled “Research and Regulatory Advancements on Remediation and Degradation of Fluorinated Polymer Compounds," in the journal Applied Sciences. The publication is an extensive review of the remediation and degradation of a class of chemicals that is prevalent in industrial products and applications found in both military and civilian sectors. Although versatile, the chemicals are hazardous to the environment. This publication serves to inform future remediation processes and techniques.
