Graduating cadets from West Point are participating in a training exercise in cybersecuity defense against potential threats to national security.
The 28 cadets will spend 24 hours a day for one week monitoring their system against simulated attacks from members of the national security agency posing as hackers. Lt. Col. David Raymond '89 says the exercises have special significance in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing.
"There's more to defending infrastructure than just putting police forces out," said Raymond.
