BOSTON, Mass. – Army junior Kelsey Minato hit a team-record eight three-pointers and scored a game-high 30 points to lead the Black Knights to a 65-40 Patriot League victory over Boston University on Thursday evening at Case Gym. Army picks up its fifth consecutive win to match its longest winning streak of the season and improve to 14-5 overall and 6-3 in the league, while Boston University drops to 4-16 and 1-8.
Minato finished 9-of-13 from the floor and shot 8-of-10 from beyond the arc to move past classmate Jean Parker’s previous single-game standard of seven three-pointers against Central Connecticut State on Dec. 13.
