WASHINGTON, D.C. - Army scored the final seven points and Dylan Cox's driving bank shot with 3.1 seconds left completed the comeback for the Black Knights in a 68-66 win over American on Monday night at Bender Arena. Facing a 66-61 hole with 1:45 left, Cox scored on a drive to pull Army (13-6, 4-4 Patriot) within one possession (66-63) of American (11-9, 4-4 Patriot). Mac Hoffman's hustle forced American into a backcourt violation, giving the ball back to Army with 1:24 left.
