Two Black Knights were honored by the Atlantic Hockey Association for their standout performances last weekend. Dalton MacAfee was tabbed the Defensive Player of the Week, while Michael Wilson was deemed the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week. Firstie captain MacAfee tallied a team-leading four points last weekend as the Black Knights stayed unbeaten in conference play with a road sweep of Mercyhurst.
MacAfee had a goal and an assist on Friday and two assists on Saturday. He also led a penalty-kill unit that held Mercyhurst to 1-for-13 on the power play. The Needham, Mass., native leads Atlantic Hockey in several categories including points per game (1.29), assists (7), assists per game (1.00), power play points per game (0.86) and defenseman scoring.
