The Men's Team Handball club was invited to tour the ESPN Headquarters in Bristol, CT in route to a tournament in Springfield, MA. During the tour players visited the live sets of ESPN's major programs including Sports Center, NFL Live, Baseball Tonight and Fantasy Football. After the tour, ESPN representatives provided an overview of their company's Heroes Work Here program which seeks to hire military veterans and assist service members with the transition from military to corporate life. This opportunity at ESPN was the perfect team building event to kick off the year. The cadets concluded a successful weekend with an impressive second place finish.
