Cadets John Herrmann and Alex Sabatino presented their research on “Nonlinear Dimensionality Expansion (NLDE)” at the Intelligence Community Academic Research Symposium (ICARS) in Washington, D.C. recently. This research builds on the efforts of an Individual Research Project started last Spring in EV478 (Military Geospatial Operations) in conjunction with the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA). They completed their research during an Academic Individual Advanced Development (AIAD) at NGA this summer. LTC Will Wright, COL Chris Oxendine, and Dr. Matt O'Banion presented their research on “GPS Forest Signal Coefficient Absorption Index” at ICARS. Both research projects were funded by the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA).
