First Period Surge Powers Hockey Past Merrimack

Fueled by a three goal first period, the Army West Point hockey team powered past Merrimack 3-2 on Saturday night to secure its first win of the season. The Black Knights jumped ahead 3-0 after the first frame, and despite two goals in the third period by the Warriors, Army persevered for the victory.
