The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) had their first meeting. CDT Adrian Barraza (President/CIC) opened the meeting talking about the club and getting input from club members about potential upcoming events. Following an introduction to the club and greeting new members, CPT Nathaniel Sheehan served as a guest lecture and discussed the significance of being a member of SAME, the opportunities afforded to him throughout his career as a result of being a SAME member, and his experience at the Joint Engineer Training Conference (JETC) in May 2018. His comments were well received and helped reinforce the significance of lifetime membership in SAME.
