The Army West Point women's tennis team kicked off its second tournament of the fall at the Quinnipiac Invite on Friday. Army went an impressive 9-3 in singles play and 5-3 in doubles action on the opening day of the tournament. The team saw yearling Ana Joyner and plebe Stephanie Dolehide come away with singles titles on the final day of the Quinnipiac Invite on Sunday. Ana Joyner won the second fall tournament of her career after collecting a victory in the A singles bracket of Lehigh's Patriot League Kickoff from Oct. 13-15 last season. The Las Cruces, N.M., native owns a team-best 5-1 mark through the first two tournaments. Stephanie Dolehide won her first collegiate tournament title. Yearling Sophia Suri captured her 10th career victory with a victory in the E singles consolation finals. Ana Joyner will represent the Black Knights and the Patriot League at the ITA Oracle Masters in Malibu, Calif., from Thursday to Sunday on the campus of Pepperdine University.
