The Black Knights men's rugby team made it three wins in a row to open up the 2018 fall campaign, as the cadets took down St. Bonaventure 28-10 Friday night from the Tom and Michelle Marra Athletics Fields Complex. Army (2-0) opened up the scoring midway through the first half with a Marco Carrabotta try to take a 7-0 lead and never looked back, as St. Bonaventure (0-1) never led in the match. After the Bonnies added a try to make it 7-5, the Black Knights quickly answered. Jacob Ericksen extended Army's lead to 14-5 going into the half.
The Army men's rugby team kept up its winning ways Saturday afternoon, as the Black Knights rolled through Buffalo 86-3 to remain undefeated this fall. Army (3-0) put out a fresh 15 versus the Bulls. After Buffalo opened up the scoring with a kick to make it 3-0, the cadets piled on the tries en route to victory. Nolan Green led the way with four tries. Gannon Conrad and Steven Rohde each had two tries of their own. The Black Knights begin the season at least 3-0 for the fourth time in five years.
