Cadet Brief to PEO-Ammo

Cadets Cari Jenkins and Tanner Andrews briefed their capstone project to Mr. John McFassel from PEO-Ammo. The project is to develop a comprehensive maintenance program for the APE 1236 incinerator. The APE 1236 incinerator is the Army's only demilitarization method for several types of munitions. The team was tasked to develop a maintenance program to assist PEO-Ammo in accurately logging and assessing maintenance to determine when major components of the incinerator need to be taken off line to repair and replace parts. There are five of these incinerators located throughout the US and Japan which makes the maintenance program very difficult to implement. The cadets developed a comprehensive excel based maintenance program which logs, assess and archives PMCS, maintenance and usage called the Incinerator Maintenance Program (IMP) model. In addition, they developed a user's manual for the operators.
