The Civil Engineering club hosted a professional development dinner at Eisenhower Hall for Former USMA Dean ('90 - '95), BG(R) Gerald Galloway and local ASCE chapter. General Gerald Galloway offered his thoughts on Hurricane Harvey, the challenges of climate changes and ethical dilemmas engineers face. Over 70 cadets, faculty and civilians from the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering and the ASCE Mohawk Hudson Branch attended the event. General Galloway drew on his lifelong experience as an engineer and applied it to the devastating hurricane that struck Texas.
