DEP and Physics Instructors Recruiting Trip

MAJ Caldwell and MAJ Capps (Physics) toured six Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) to increase the faculty applicant pool at West Point. Approximately 200 cadets from various ROTC programs learned about opportunities to teach, coach, and mentor at West Point. While there, they participated in a branch panel to promote the Combat Arms branches, dispel common myths about the profession of arms, and encourage ROTC cadets to explore bigger opportunities. They returned to West Point with over 100 ROTC cadet prospective faculty names and contact information to ensure continuity for years to come.
