Cadets Visit Mohegan Lake Islamic Center

Eight cadets from the Arabic Language Forum had the opportunity to visit the Hudson Valley Islamic Community Center located in Mohegan Lake, NY. This is their second visit to this Islamic Center. Cadets had the opportunity to foster civil-military relations between USMA and the Hudson Valley's Islamic community. While at the Center, cadets practiced their Arabic, observed a prayer session, and ate dinner with the local worshippers. The cultural experience will help build a mutual understanding between this Islamic community, the cadets, and the Academy.
