The Army West Point baseball team battled back for two come-from-behind victories over Manhattan here Tuesday. With the 2-1 and 3-2 midweek seven-inning doubleheader sweep, Army improves to 18-14 overall and are the winners of six-straight games. In the opener, Manhattan broke a pitchers' duel in the fifth inning when it drilled a shot over the left field fence for the 1-0 edge. The Black Knights answered in the following inning though with two runs on three hits. Jon Rosoff started the rally by registering a one-out triple to right center that brought home Drake Titus from second. Titus reached base during the previous at bat thanks to a walk before advancing to second on a wild pitch. John McKenna then notched what ended up being the game-winning run batted in when he singled up the middle during the ensuing play to score Rosoff. Read More
