Yearling midfielder Rilee Scott of the Army West Point women's lacrosse team garnered athlete of the week recognition from the Army West Point Athletic Association for her efforts in the team's thrilling 12-11 victory over Lafayette on Saturday. Scott recorded the second hat trick of her career, both of which have come this season. The Berwyn, Pa., native was part of the team's fourth trio to post hat tricks in the same game as Samantha Stewart and Megan Raftery both scored three goals. Two of Scott's three tallies came during the team's 6-0 second half run that gave Army its first lead of the afternoon. She added game highs in ground balls (four) and caused turnovers (three). On the season, Scott has posted personal bests in goals (14), assists (four), points (18), shooting percentage (48.3 percent) and caused turnovers (nine). Read More
