Football Inching Closer to First Spring Scrimmage

The Army West Point Football team continued its third week of spring practice on Thursday evening. The Black Knights are getting closer to their first scrimmage of the spring on Saturday and practiced under sunny skies for most of the action on Howze and Goldstein Fields. The team were not in pads on Thursday, but still had a high-intensity workout. Army started the practice with special teams and broke into individual positional drills for the first part, followed by some 7-on-7 drills and 1-on-1s with receivers and running backs against the defensive backfield.
