Superintendent Lieutenant General Calsen '75 traveled to Bogota, Colombia and Santiago, Chile to visit cadets on semester abroad and celebrate Founders Day with graduates from the West Point Society of South America. LTG Caslen met with Colombian Army Commander MG Ricardo Gomez Nieto and gave a speech on leadership to senior Colombian cadets at the Escuela Militar de Cadetes José María Córdova after conducting physical training led by USMA cadets on exchange to Colombia. In Chile, LTG Caslen met with U.S. Ambassador to Chile Carol Pérez and the Commander-in-Chief of the Chilean Army, General Martínez. At the Chilean military academy, LTG Caslen met with the director of their school and participated in ceremonies celebrating their 201st anniversary.
