Cadets Visit Special Collections at the USMA Library

Cadets in Civil War America paid a visit to the Special Collections at the USMA Library to work with archival letters and diaries written by Union and Confederate soldiers during the American Civil War. Topics discussed included Soldiers' motivations to fight, changing opinions of courage, and the value of archival sources. Manuscript curator Susan Lintelmann, and Associate Director of Special Collections & Archives Suzanne Christoff coordinated the visit.
