A Cadet history thesis seminar on Intelligence and Cyber operations, led by Dr. David Gioe and MAJ Jason LeVay, took a trip section to the National Capital Region, where they toured the National Cryptologic Museum, met with U.S. Cyber Command Historian Dr. Michael Warner, and received National Security Agency (NSA) and U.S. Cyber Command mission briefings. They toured the CIA's internal museum and headquarters with the Deputy Director of Curatorial Affairs and were received at the Institute for World Politics where they met Mr. Burton Gerber former CIA Chief of Station Moscow and former Chief of Central Eurasia Division, Mr. Dick Holm former paramilitary officer in Laos during the Vietnam War and former CoS Paris, and Mr. John Sano retired Deputy Director of the National Clandestine Service. This opportunity provided by the Army Cyber Institute and the Department of History enriched the cadet learning experience, allowing them to interact with artifacts, and engage with intelligence and cyber historians and senior intelligence officers.
