The Fencing Team traveled to NJIT to compete against conference match opponents in the last dual meets of the regular season. Army beat Navy for the 15th consecutive year in head to head competition. The #1 Ranked Sabre Fencer of the day was Chris Papa going 8-4 in his weapon against a field of all MAAC and NCAA ranked fencers. In the weapon of Foil, Caleb Kifer finished the day at 5-5 – giving Army the two wins they needed in foil against Navy for the close tied win and contributing wins against William and Mary.
Army takes home its Foil Champion in Claudia Sun who was the only athlete to go undefeated on the day at 9-0 – the best finish for any athlete in this competition. The Weapon of Epee finished at 2-1, with cadets Amy Yang (7-2), Claire Sirna (6-3) and Brigit Duffy (5-4) finishing above all other opponents with a first-place finish. In Women's Sabre Helen Schroeder went 5-4, one of her strongest finishes in any competition.
