The Army West Point Women's Rugby team is spending part of their spring break in sunny California, training alongside members of the USA National 7s team, and their coaching staff. The Cadets are receiving instructions from some of the best players in the country, and are participating in intensive workouts in the National team's renowned Chula Vista facilities. The Cadets will continue their training regimen through the next two days. This experience is crucial for the development of these athletes, preparing them for their season opener on Saturday, March 24 against Harvard at the Anderson Rugby Complex. Last season, Army advanced to the National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) Championship match, before falling to the Crimson.
