Cadets Interact with Visiting German Officers

Visiting lieutenants of the German Army (2Lt. Finn Kobza, Co. E4, and 2Lt. Konstantin Ohmer, Co. D4) and officer candidates of the German Air Force (Johanna Kratze, Co. B2, and Pia Oberhuber, Co. C3) visited all the sections of LG204, Standard German II (course director, Dr. Diane Richardson). Cadets prepared questions, in German, to ask the visitors about their childhood, studies, and general interests, as well as their time at West Point and in the United States. The event provided cadets the opportunity to apply what they have learned in class and discuss various topics with native speakers outside of normal interaction circles of faculty and fellow cadets.
