ASEM Hosts USMA DSE Cadets

The American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) Club hosted approximately thirty cadets for its continuing lunch speaker series, “So I’m graduating with a degree from the Department of Systems Engineering (DSE), now what?” Mr. Jon Belmont ’99 with a wealth of experience in the military, governmental, and civilian arenas spoke on his experiences and lessons learned from the Army, working as an engineer on process improvement projects for Kellogg’s Pop-Tart manufacturing and as a DA civilian. He also provided insight and lessons learned from his military to civilian governmental and corporate transitions. The ASEM Cadets engaged in an excellent question and answer session following.
