Conference Presentation at Oxford University

Members of the Department of English and Philosophy attended a conference at Oxford University. LTC Harry Jones, MAJ Scott Parsons, and CDT Maddie Ruppel attended the Virtues in the Public Sphere Conference at Oriel College, Oxford University. The Virtues in the Public Sphere Conference is the sixth annual conference of the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues. LTC Harry Jones presented a paper entitled "Public Virtue by Design: Practicing Dialogue through Civic Friendship." Major Parsons presented a paper entitled "The Civil-Military Divide: Moral Exemplars in the Public Sphere."
