Army-Navy Baseball Heading to Fenway Park

Army West Point baseball and Navy, in conjunction with the Boston Red Sox, announced today that the teams' third meeting of the season will now be played at Fenway Park. The date and time of the game, April 20 at 6 p.m., will remain the same. Ticket proceeds from the matchup will be donated to charity. Proceeds from the Army-Navy game will benefit the Home Base Program, a partnership between Massachusetts General Hospital and the Red Sox Foundation that helps veterans suffering from PTSD and other "invisible wounds of war." Tickets will go on sale at a later date. "We are thrilled and very thankful to have the opportunity to play Navy at Fenway Park on April 20th," head coach Jim Foster said. "It is an incredible venue to compete against our biggest rival on the field but biggest ally off of it. I know the response will be great from baseball fans all over, our alumni, and supporters of the military. I want to thank everyone in our administration and the Red Sox organization for making this happen. It will create lifelong memories for these future leaders of our country."
