Technical Scholarship Trip to Cambridge, MA

Twenty-four cadets from the Class of 2018 along with three faculty members from Civil and Mechanical Engineering (C&ME) visited Draper Laboratories, met with faculty across the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and visited Lincoln Laboratories as part of the Technical Scholarship program. Current fellows from each of the labs also met with the cadets, describing their own experiences through the process, and in some cases, providing tours of their research projects and facilities. These potential scholarship cadets will submit applications for study at the top ranked programs in their disciplines including MIT, Harvard, Northeastern, and Rice University, simultaneously applying for the laboratory fellowships that will fund them through the middle of February, with announcements made on a ‘rolling’ basis until 1 April 2018.
