Equestrian IHSA at Centenary University

The Army West Point Equestrian Team represented the Academy proudly at its second IHSA horseshow of the season travelling to Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ to compete against ten highly competitive colleges in the Northeast region. The team rode to excellence with seven top-three finishes in multiple categories of competition. Some of the most notable placings were: Madyson Paul ’21 first place walk-trot-canter division; Haley Middleton ’21 and Carolin Ruwe ’18 second in walk-trot-canter divisions; Cira Wolf ’20 and Taqi Iftikhar ’20 second in walk-trot divisions, and Lucy Harrill ’21 and Caneel Dixon ’20 third in their walk-trot divisions. In addition to their individual wins, the team enjoyed participating in the annual team Halloween costume competition. They earned first place for their construction worker costumes, and had a blast providing entertainment for the parents visiting for the weekend.
