Cadets Attend Annual Leadership Conference of OutServe-SLDN

MAJ Keating traveled with three cadets from Spectrum, West Point’s Gay-Straight Alliance, to the annual leadership conference of OutServe-SLDN, an organization that provides legal support for LGBTQ veterans and service members. This conference brought together civilian and military leadership from across the Joint environment to focus on policy, legislation, military benefits, and other areas that specifically impact LGBTQ service members. In addition to meeting LGBTQ senior leaders, cadets met with other cadets and midshipmen from the Air Force and Naval Academies, as well as Norwich University’s Corps of Cadets, who are in those schools’ GSA clubs.
