Women's XC Impressive at League Championships

The Army West Point women's cross country team placed second out of 10 competing schools at the Patriot League Championships Saturday afternoon. "Our women executed the plan and we moved up quite a bit over the last mile of the race and that helped us to move up in the standings. All of those women closed really well. We train them to do that and it takes a certain maturity level to let your opponents get ahead and then go get them but these women are pretty fearless and that showed out there.
