BS&L Cadets Meet with S&P Execs and Leaders

37 Management Major Cadets from the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Leadership (BS&L), primarily those enrolled in Managerial Finance met with executives and leaders from Standard and Poors (S&P) Dow Jones in New York City. S&P executives and leaders conducted multiple presentations and exercises with cadets, including discussions on risk evaluation, index formation, and the competitive landscape for index products. S&P also utilized their Veterans affinity group, “Valor”, to highlight their leadership development efforts and Veteran outreach initiatives. Cadets and S&P executives also completed two live cases covering shared leadership and developing subordinates. This spring executives from S&P will visit USMA to lend their expertise to multiple classes in the management major.
