Faculty from the Department of Geography & Environmental Engineering (GEnE) participated in the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Mid-Atlantic Section Fall 2017 Conference at Penn State Berks in Reading, PA. The conference began with interactive workshops on preparing students for research and effective peer evaluation of teamwork. Guest speakers of the conference included Dr. Terpenny, Dr. Delattre, and Dr. Hillkirk. CPT Martinez presented GEnE faculty research, titled “An Environmental Engineering Sequence: Deliberately Addressing and Evaluating Environmental Attitudes and Knowledge” which was a collaborative effort between the authors including CPT Martinez, CPT Ouellette, CPT Plante, LTC Wallen, and COL Starke. The paper was accepted by the peer review process for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
