The Parliamentary Debate Tournament at Boston University marked the second competition of the season for the USMA Speech and Parliamentary Debate team. The tournament was hosted on an invitational basis by Boston University, USMA entered two teams into the tournament. After four rounds of debate, both teams managed to achieve winning records of 3-1, defeating teams from Yale, Harvard, Tufts, Smith College and other elite institutions. After the competition, they enjoyed an educational trip through downtown Boston, visiting Boston Harbor and other historical sites of early American History. The tournament provided vital experience for the novice teams, helped the varsity team members develop mentorship and coaching abilities, and proved to be an overall great team bonding experience.
