Soccer Club Team Double Header

Clik here to view.The Army West Point Club Soccer Team played a double header with hosts Sacred Heart University & Central Connecticut University (CCSU). The Team moved the ball excellently without quite producing the cutting-edge necessary to open the scoring. Sacred Heart had a fast pace on offense, but a tremendous performance by the entire back four defenders enabled Army to hold firm and get to the second half with the match scoreless. Cadet Newton Tsang '18 hit the bar with a free kick from 40 yards, and later a goal. A win recorded defeating Sacred Heart University. Against a well-rested CCSU team, that came out firing, Army took the lead with a score by Cadet Peter Echevarria ’21 but, they could not hold on to the lead and a faced a setback.
