Brown and Coletti Bring Home Weekly Honors

The Army West Point women's track and field team saw two Cadet-athletes capture two Patriot League weekly honors for their performances at the Penn State National Invitational. Briyah Brown captured her third M-F Athletic Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week nod, while Samantha Coletti was chosen as the M-F Athletic Patriot League Female Rookie of the Week. Brown placed third in the shot put in a talented field at the Invite with a distance of 14.91 meters. This shot put mark is second in the league only behind her own throw of 15.27 meters from the Wagner Invite in early January. Coletti won the 1000-meter run over the weekend with a clocking of 2:56.00, her best time of the season and the seventh-best time in the Patriot League. Read More
