Cycling at the Collegiate Mountain Nationals

Mud, rain, snow and tears... Chilling pain and gusty winds dampened the spirits of the competitors. Making it a test of intestinal fortitude. This is the second year in a row that the Cycling Team has attended Collegiate Mountain Nationals. Riders battled fierce competition, heavy rain, wind, and even snow for the duration of the competition. CDT Preston Pritchard ’18, CDT Wyatt Gengler ’19, and CDT Daniel Forquer ’17 traveled to the hills of Snowshoe, West Virginia to compete in the USAC Collegiate Mountain National Competition in Cross Country and Short Track Cross Country.
