Senior wide receiver Edgar Poe was selected as the Army Athletic Association Athlete of the Week after his performance in the win over Wake Forest. Poe finished with a career high 122 receiving yards on four catches and scored Army's first touchdown of the afternoon in the 21-13 come-from-behind win against the Demon Deacons. He hauled in a 43-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw to put the Black Knights up midway through the first quarter. Poe also caught a 35 yard pass from Bradshaw in the second quarter and then had a huge catch in the fourth frame that put Army in business at the Wake Forest 26-yard line.
