At the facility, the team was greeted by Ms. Carol Griffin-DePaolis, a volunteer coordinator at the facility. She kindly offered us a quick tour of the building and outlined for us what volunteers typically do to help out the food bank. The team was quickly assigned to an assortment of jobs, to include sorting, packing, weighing, recycling, labeling, organizing, and redistributing the mix of brand goods that arrived at the facility. The “work” was simple, yet arduous and rewarding. The team sorted 9,650lbs of donated food!
